Transportation & Infrastructure

  • Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT): Wetland and watercourse delineations for bridge and culvert replacement projects, as well as rail line and passenger station improvements at locations throughout Connecticut.

  • Bradley International Airport – Windsor Locks, CT: Delineation of federal and Connecticut-regulated wetlands, along with rare species permitting coordination and mitigation design support, to assist with airport planning and operational improvements (project in progress).

  • Tweed New Haven Airport – East Haven, CT: Wetland and watercourse delineations to support municipal and airport planning, including potential roadway and operational improvements.

Aquatic Resource Surveys

  • Connecticut River – Hartford & East Hartford, CT: State-listed freshwater mussel and submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) surveys conducted in support of Connecticut Department of Transportation planning efforts.

Wildlife & Rare Species Surveys

  • RTE Species Surveys & Permitting Coordination – Hartford & East Hartford, CT: Rare, threatened, and endangered (RTE) species surveys and permitting coordination for herpetological species, freshwater mussels, and invertebrates in support of a large transportation project.

  • Eastern Box Turtle & Spotted Turtle Surveys – CT & MA: Surveys and development of agency-approved protection plans conducted in support of infrastructure, municipal, and private development projects.

  • Bald Eagle Nest Surveys – Connecticut River Corridor: Nest surveys and habitat use evaluations conducted to support regulatory compliance and project planning.

  • Northern Long-Eared Bat Acoustic Monitoring – Western Massachusetts: Passive acoustic monitoring and habitat assessment conducted in support of infrastructure and utility projects.

Municipal Projects & Regulatory Support

  • Municipal Third-Party Review Services – Various Connecticut Municipalities: Independent wetland permit application review and on-call technical support provided to multiple municipal Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commissions.

  • Expert Witness Services – Town of Essex, CT: Served as wetlands expert witness in litigation involving violations of municipal Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Regulations.

GIS Mapping & Natural Resources Inventories

  • Town of Ridgefield, CT: GIS-based mapping and spatial analysis completed in support of the Town’s Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) update.

  • Town of Fairfield, CT: Document compilation and GIS-based mapping to support development of the Town’s Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) (project in progress).
